The mine site, location and facilities

Enjoy working on a commodity rich mine, conveniently located just a 50-minute flight from Geraldton and Perth. With 2 major declines and a projected lifespan of 10-15 years, this site offers abundant opportunities for growth and stability. Enjoy:

• FIFO on Tuesdays from Perth and Geraldton (fly in during company time)
• Camp, mine site and airstrip are all located in close proximity
• Comfortable on-site accommodation featuring permanent en-suite rooms.

Your duties and responsibilities

You'll enjoy integrating into a well-connected team on site with a great culture. Reporting into the shift boss you will be responsible for;-

• Grading underground and surface roadways
• Operating Komatsu graders
• Assisting with nippering/ service crew/ general site TA work during grader downtime

The roster and hours

• Fly in Tuesday afternoon
• 7 night shifts, 7 day shifts (7- 7 shifts)
• Fly home Tuesday afternoon, home by 6.30pm latest

Your skills and experience

You will come from an underground background with experience in either maintenance or mining operator roles. Key requirements include;

• Grader operation experience (civil or mining)
• Experience working on a FIFO roster and living away from home
• Excellent attitude towards learning and skills development
• Team player however can work autonomously (when trained up)
• Have an eagerness to work in the UG mining sector
• Looking for a role that offers FIFO with good earning potential (on a 2:1 roster)
• Safety first attitude
