The mine sites & locations:

With a wide range of major contracts throughout Australia the opportunities for growth and development are endless. Opportunities at WA mining operations include;-

• FIFO Perth, Geraldton and Busselton
• DIDO from Geraldton and Busselton
• Mine sites located in and around Kalgoorlie and northern/ central WA

• FIFO via charter to air strips on site

Your duties and responsibilities;

You'll enjoy integrating into a well-connected team on site with a great culture. Reporting into the electrical leading hand or supervisor on crew you will be responsible for;-

• 1000v reticulation
• Maintenance and installs on fans, pumps and vents
• Jumbo, pump and fan starter relocations
• Drill rig servicing
• Leaky feeder communication installs, configuration and maintenance
• General site electrics (power and lighting)
• Auditing and statutory checks
• Testing and tagging of equipment

Your skills and experience

With an excellent training and development focus, the business prides itself on shaping the best tradespeople in the industry. Key requirements include;

• Cert III Electrical trade qualifications
• 12+ months experience working in UG hard rock mining
• Experience servicing and diagnosing faults on UG mining drill rigs
• Excellent attitude towards learning and skills development
• Team player however can work autonomously (when trained up)
• Looking for a role that offers FIFO/ DIDO with good earning potential
• Safety first attitude
