The Role:

Join a skilled maintenance team, either in the surface workshop or in a breakdown role. Reporting to the senior leading hand and maintenance foreman, you will:

• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance, repairs, and part fittings
• Respond to breakdowns, perform fault finding and diagnostic work and provide technical support
• Working primarily with Sandvik trucks, boggers, drills, and other equipment
• Enjoying a supportive and relaxed team culture
• Operating within a spacious, well-equipped workshop featuring concrete pads and overhead cranes, all sheltered and shaded

The Mine Site:

The sites are located a short distance from Perth and offer a variety of FIFO days. The contractor has established a long-term presence with the principal, ensuring job security. Site amenities include:

• En-suite rooms with air conditioning and effective night shift shading
• A diverse range of food options and a well-managed Wet Mess
• Facilities including a gym, tennis courts, basketball courts, swimming pool, and on-site Wi-Fi
• Enjoy having the airstrip, site and camp all in close proximity; limiting daily travelling

Your Skills and Experience:

We welcome applicants of all experience levels, though you must be trade-qualified in light vehicle or heavy diesel. Desired qualifications include:

• 1-2+ years' experience in civil, road transport, agricultural, or mining sectors
• A positive attitude towards work and skill development
• Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit
• Ability to work independently with a proactive approach
• A commitment to safety
