Company Description

I am working with a multi award winning electrical contractor who are looking for a Construction Manager across major Data Centre projects. Some of these projects last several years. They have been across the data centre space for many years now and have won countless awards for their projects.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Construction Manager located in Sydney. The role involves overseeing and managing a team of Projects Managers who are across the design, build, instalattion and comissioning of data centres across Sydney. You will also be overseeing the projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and budgeting projects, as well as collaborating with stakeholders, end user clients, global tier 1 head contractors and internal & external teams to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical construction management
• Must have delivered data centres - This is one of the main requirements due to the complexities of these jobs
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage construction projects effectively
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite
• Electrical trade background
