The site and FIFO:

This UG hard rock mine is located in N.QLD, in the Mt Isa region. The site offers;-

• Attractive 2:2 Roster
• FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville, Cairns (fly in on company time, fly home one yours)
• Challenging role where your skills will develop on UG mobile plant mining equipment
• Full modern camp set up with meals and accommodation supplied.

Duties of the role

Reporting into the maintenance leading hand and working closely with other tradespeople on your crew, you will enjoy;-

• Working from a well-equipped workshop fabrication facility
• Working on maintenance and repairs to buckets, bodywork, bucket teeth, handrails, general fabrication on the equipment
• Working on a range of machinery including Sandvik loaders, Epiroc trucks, CAT graders, dozers and other UG mobile equipment needing repairs.

Your value and experience

• Trade qualified Boilermaker
• 2+ years' recent experience working on civil or mining earthmoving equipment
• Ability to work well in a team and unsupervised
• Ability to FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns.
• Strong safety values
