Autocad Drafter/Detailer – Commercial Fitout

Seeking an AutoCAD drafter who can produce detailed working drawings for a reputable Head Contractor.

Job Description

Seeking talented and experienced AutoCAD Drafter to join the team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled professional with a passion for design and a strong understanding of AutoCAD software, having completed numerous working shop drawinsg with a high undertsanding of construction principals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings and plans for commercial fitout projects, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of design concepts.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain and update project documentation throughout the construction process.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and cost estimates.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting or a related field.
• Proven experience in commercial fitout projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software, including 2D and 3D drawing techniques.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Candidates with commercial joinery drafting exprience encouraged to apply.
