We are looking for skilled High Voltage Cable Jointers to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Role Overview: We are seeking experienced High Voltage Cable Jointers with PILC (Paper Insulated Lead Covered) and XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) qualifications. Ideal candidates are ex-Energex Cable Jointers or Fitter Mechanics with a Cable Jointing qualification, ready to step into a permanent role with competitive EBA rates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality cable jointing on HV cables (PILC & XLPE).
- Work on underground cable systems, ensuring all joints are installed to the highest standards.
- Conduct testing and fault finding on HV cable networks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a High Voltage Cable Jointer.
- PILC and XLPE cable jointing qualifications.
- Ex-Energex Cable Jointers or Fitter Mechanics with a Cable Jointing qualification are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of HV cable systems and industry standards.
- Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.
