The Roster

The company offers flexible rosters to accommodate various lifestyles:

• 8/6 - day shift only
• 12-hour shifts
• FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie

The Role/ location

In the position of Drill Fitter, you will be working across the client base around the Goldfields and site workshop environments providing essential support on Sandvik Rhino drills or Epiroc Raise bore Drills. Responsibilities include:

• Working on diverse projects in the Kalgoorlie region
• Conducting scheduled and preventative maintenance, repairs, and part fitting
• Addressing breakdowns, performing fault-finding and diagnostic work, and delivering technical support
• Working in a small team of 3 - including a Drill fitter, supervisor and an operator.
• Accommodation will be provided at motels or on-site camps, depending on the location

Your experience

The ideal candidate will come from a heavy, civil, road transport, or agricultural background, with Sandvik mining experience being advantageous but not essential. Required qualifications and attributes include:

• A heavy vehicle/diesel fitting trade qualification
• Experience with Sandvik systems
• Adaptability to various conditions and environments
• A valid Australian manual Driver's Licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Check within 3-6 months
• Strong capability to work independently as well as part of a team
