About the Role:

Are you a skilled and experienced building estimator looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our client as an Insurance Building Estimator.

As an Insurance Building Estimator, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and estimating damage to residential properties following insurance claims
  • Developing and preparing detailed cost estimates for repairs and reconstruction
  • Inspecting properties to identify and document damage
  • Negotiating with contractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
  • Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service to policyholders throughout the claims process

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a building estimator within the Insurance/Make Safe Industry
  • Strong knowledge of building construction methods, materials, and costs
  • Previous trade experience is highly regarded
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy
