Company Summary:

I have partnered exclusively with one of the largest sub-contractors with an excellent reputation in the Queensland and Australian market spanning over 70 years of proven success delivering projects more than $300m+ with head contractors, specialising in the commercial construction market.

After a successful 2024, with a strong pipeline of work for 2027 and beyond from trusted, repeat clients and is now hiring an experienced Allocator to join their team due to growth and project wins.

They operate across a range of delivering methods, with D&C being a big focus they are looking for someone with proven experience within the Commercial Construction industry.

Partnering with reputable Tier 1-2 Commercial Construction organisations who specialise in a diverse range of projects including residential apartments, industrial, retail, health, community, and much more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all labour and equipment.
• Organisation - Running up to 15 projects at any given time.
• Scheduling labour hire and equipment requirements.
• Coordinating with project teams daily.

Ideal traits the successful candidate will have:

• 2 + years of experience

With a strong pipeline of work already under construction and due to company growth, they are looking for an experienced Allocator to join the team in their Brisbane office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a leader, self-motivated, confident, honest, reliable, and looking to grow their career to step into this role.

Your Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management & Economics, Quantity Surveying or equivalent are preferred
• Excellent communication & relationship building skills with various stakeholders (clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors etc.)
• Local experience and relationships with consultants and subcontractors
• Ideally 2-3 years industry experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong tenure with previous employers.
• Positive attitude and growth mindset.
