The Project

One of Australia's largest underground hard rock mines with an extended mine life located in South Australia.

The Role

Workring as a heavy diesel fitter in a close-knit crew, you will be responsible for;-

  • Service and maintenance, diagnostics and repair of UG mining equipment throughout workshop and the field
  • Utilise your strong level of skill and experience working on Sandvik drills, trucks, boggers and Normet equipment
  • Work predominantly from a modern well equipped surface workshop

What's Required

A trade qualification in diesel mechanic (or similar trade and relevant experience) with experience working on earthmoving equipmnet (civil, mining or AG).

  • Experience working in the field and workshop
  • Experience working autonomously as well as in a team environment
