The role

As a Joinery/Fitout Estimator, you will be solely responsible for providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of joinery and fitout projects in the commercial and residential industry. This is a full-time position and will play a crucial part in ensuring the companies success in winning and securing new business.

You will

• Interpret and analyse architectural drawings, specifications and client requirements to develop accurate cost estimates
• Research and source materials, labour, sub-contractor pricing to generate detailed estimates
• Collaborate with internal project managers to refine estimates and identify cost-saving opportunities for the business
• Prepare and submit tender documents and proposals to clients
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing and regulations
• Provide support and guidance to the broader estimating team
• Utilise your commercial joinery estimating experience within the construction industry
• Apply your strong understanding of joinery materials, methods and cost drivers
• Demonstrate your proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
• Use your strong numerical and analytical skills
