The Mine Site and Roster

The contractor has a strong relationship with the principal miners and holds long-term site contracts, offering these roster options:

• 2:2 - rotating day and night shifts - FIFO from Perth (interstate options considered)
• 2:1 - rotating day and night shifts - FIFO Perth
• 8:6 / 7:7 - dayshift to night shift - FIFO Perth, Busselton & Gerladton
• Camp accommodation and meals provided
• FIFO in company time (50% of travel time covered)

The Role and Team

You'll be welcomed into a well-connected, positive team environment. Reporting to the crew's leading hand, your responsibilities will include:

• Diesel mechanical maintenance, servicing, and breakdowns
• Both workshop and field service work
• Equipment types: Sandvik drills, boggers, trucks, and charge-up gear

Your Skills and Experience

As a trade-qualified light vehicle or diesel mechanic, you'll also need:

• Experience across workshop and field environments
• Familiarity with Sandvik, Epiroc, or CAT UG mining machinery
• A drive to grow and develop in UG hard rock mining
• A strong work ethic and a readiness to learn new skills
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and in a team
• A commitment to safety as your top priority
