Roster and Travel

Enjoy an 8:6 days only roster. Driving to and from site in company time.

• 8 days on 6 days off (Wednesday to Wednesday)
• Day shift only!
• DIDO is company time (get to site at midday and leave home at midday on day 8)
• Accommodation provided in hotel/motel style accommodation in town

Mine site

• Large UG mine site in western NSW
• Join an established client maintenance team with many years of experience on site
• Surface and UG workshops with excellent facilities
• Strong availability for spare parts (working for the OEM)

The role

As a product support advisor on site, you will be responsible for;-

• Maintenance and repairs to the OEM equipment on site including underground trucks and drill rigs (50%)
• Technical support to the site's resident tradespeople and managers (40%)
• Utilised on site as an all-round tradesperson where and when needed (10%)

Your value

You will have come from a background in underground hard rock mining working as an UG diesel mechanic and have at least 4 years' experience working on trucks, boggers, and drill rigs.

• Heavy diesel trade qualification
• Excellent diagnostics skills and ability to first response problem solve
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to develop strong relationships at site
• Ability to work autonomously and plan your days for maximum efficiency
• Excellent attitude towards work and safety
