Mine Site & Location

Just under a 3-hour drive from Melbourne, the site is a 3-minute drive from the town centre, offering a fantastic country lifestyle with easy access to local schools, recreation, and community amenities.

Role and Responsibilities

Position: Diesel Fitter
Reporting to: Maintenance Supervisor
Roster: 7:7 (mostly days)

As a Diesel Fitter, you'll be part of a team responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of various machinery and underground vehicles. Work closely with a team in a fast-paced environment to ensure efficient operations across the mine site. Your duties will include:

• Performing servicing, preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, and repairs in the workshop
• Carrying out diagnostics and fault-finding on-site for breakdowns
• Work with UG mining trucks, loaders, drills, and charge-up equipment

What You'll Bring

• Trade qualification in diesel or light vehicle mechanics
• Experience working with diesel machinery, within underground hard rock mining
• Positive attitude, team-oriented, and committed to safety
