Agri Diesel Fitter

Agri Background Diesel Mechanics looking to move into mining wanted for Rural Site in WA. Your Choice of roster with great a great crew culture.

• 8:6/7:7 2:2 or 2:1 Roster, 12 Hr Shifts
• FIFO from Perth, Travel in Company Time
• Excellent earning opportunity with attractive hourly rates

Duties and team:

You will enjoy integrating into a well-connected team of around 80 trades people on site with a great culture. Reporting into the leading hand and maintenance foreman on crew you will be responsible for:

Assist in the maintenance and repair of the underground mobile equipment Including;

• Sandvik DD421, Sandvik DD422i, Sandvik DL431, Sandvik DL432i, Sandvik LH517i, Sandvik TH663i

Wonderful team culture on site with a comfortable and safety conscious atmosphere.

The Mine Site:

Flying into the airstrip on site, the site offers limited travel not only into the site but from the camp and mine as well, being located on 3km apart. The mine itself has 3 underground declines, and a mine life of 5+ years left.

Contract and salary

Marble is partnered with this UG mining principal to supply long term permanent employees to the site. The opportunity exists to join the company on an initial contract through Marble and transition over to the clients' books after a short probation period.

• Up to $85.00ph + super (depending on skills and experience)
• Weekly pay cycles whilst working through Marble
• Opportunities to move over to the client's books permanently

Your skills and experience

You will be trade qualified in heavy diesel with a minimum 1-2 years' experience working on Agricultural machinery, or Heavy Earth Moving Machinery. Most importantly you will:

• Have an eagerness to continue/learn the UG hard rock mining sector
• Have an excellent attitude towards work and developing new skills
• Be a team player and enjoy working with likeminded individuals
• Have the ability to work autonomously and a willingness to "have a go"
• Prioritise safety as number one
