About the Role:
Our client, a leading Tier 2 civil construction contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple civil infrastructure projects across Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a dynamic team and contribute to the successful delivery of critical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate multiple civil infrastructure projects, including roads, slip lanes, intersection upgrades, roundabout upgrades, and car park construction.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and site personnel.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to manage project expectations and compliance.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures on all project sites.
- Prepare regular project reports and documentation.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the civil construction industry.
- Proven track record in delivering complex civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficient in project management software.
- Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or project management.
