The Company

They are a leading tier electrical contractor who deliver a variety of projects across the country such as health care, transport infrastructure, rail, data centres, industrial, commercial and more. They have been around for decades and have a solid team and are an expert in their sector and win so much repeat work from some of the largest head contractors in the country.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Operations Manager located in Sydney, NSW. The role involves overseeing and managing large construction teams of Project Managers who will then deliver projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and budgeting projects, as well as collaborating with the estimating team as well as stakeholders and teams to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical construction such as Operations or Construction Manager
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage construction professionals overseeing high profile projects effectively
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite
• High level of attention to detail
