Looking for a junior estimator to join the refurb team!

My client has over 15+ years in the game starting off specialising in insurance repairs before becoming a fully integrated building company servicing all over Queensland.
They are now looking for an eager to learn Junior Estimator to join their estimating team in the refurb division, specialising in aged care. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow their estimating skills or pivot their career down more of the commercial pathway.
About the role:
- Liaise and develop new relationships with sub contractors
- Preparation of sub contractor bid packages
- Ensure data entry is maintained in estimating software
- Compare sub contractor pricing and negotiate where needed
About you:
- Confident understanding of construction and trades
- Experience in estimating from a junior standpoint is preferrable but not mandatory
- 1-2 years min experience in construction
- Tech savy
