Our client, a leading national infrastructure contractor, is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join their team on a significant 200m+ infrastructure project in the southeast of Melbourne. This is a unique opportunity to work on a complex structures project and contribute to a landmark development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the design and construction of complex structures, including bridges, viaducts, and retaining walls.
• Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Oversee site activities, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to facilitate project progress.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
• Prepare progress reports and other project documentation.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in the design and construction of complex structures.
• Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
