The roster and camp

The mine site is supported by a large social mining village that offers;-

• BIBO from the camp to the mine (only 5-10 minutes apart)
• Gym, basketball court, squash courts
• Good standard of food with a wide-ranging selection
• Social wet mess

The roster and hours

• 7 days on - Thursday to Wednesday (12.25hrs paid - 5.45am prestart, 5.30pm buss out)
• Followed by 7 days off
• 7 nights on - Wednesday to Wednesday (12.25hrs paid - 5.45pm prestart, 5.30am buss out)

The role and duties

Reporting into the leading hand (days and nights) and supervisor (days) on your crew and working in a team of around 20 tradespeople, you will enjoy a role that offers the following diversity;-

• Reliability centre - servicing, PM work, scheduled maintenance, general repairs, machinery upgrades
• Workshop - breakdowns, major component changeouts, rebuilds
• Field work - breakdowns, digger & drill servicing

Your value, skills and attributes

You will have come from a mechanical trade background and have previous experience working on mining, civil, agricultural or forestry equipment. Your other skills and attributes include;-

• Ability to work in the field and workshop on mech, elec and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read schematics and following drawings to fault find
• A strong work ethic and excellent attitude towards work
• Safety as a number one focus
• Drivers license
