Fabricator Team Lead

You would be working within a workshop which is dedicated to the fabrication of double glazed windows and doors. You would be overseeing a small team of fabricators and reporting into the Operations Manager of the business.

The role will be around 50/50 on and off the tools.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Using tools and machinery to cut and shape materials when needed
  • Overseeing a team of fabricators, providing guidance and ensuring they are working efficiently and safely
  • Guiding a team of fabricators in best practice
  • Inspecting finished products for defects and ensuring they meet quality standards

About You:

  • Experience as an aluminium windows and doors fabricator
  • Previous experience in a similar workshop
  • Previous experience as a team lead, leading hand or similar
  • Understanding of computer tools such as Excell Spreadsheets
