About the Division:
This division specialises in delivering critical infrastructure projects within the Melbourne metropolitan area, focusing on improving the efficiency and safety of our urban transport networks.
About the Role:
They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential engineering support to Project Managers across a range of civil construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and support to Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction, with a strong focus on road infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
