The hours & roster

Join the team on a family friendly 7:7 roster for great work/life balance.

• Day shift only
• Thursday - Wednesday roster
• 12-hour days (5am-5pm)

The workshop and duties

Work within a well-established, fully equipped workshop that provides everything you need to get the job done. Boasting a 5000m2 workshop and office complex fully equipped with tooling for all related works.

• Rebuild and overhaul a variety of underground hardrock mining machinery.
• Focus on midlife, quarter-life, and full rebuilds.
• Work closely with a skilled team in a safe, organized workshop environment.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship to maintain equipment reliability.

Your value

You will be an experienced heavy diesel fitter with recent, relevant experience working on underground hardrock mining machinery. Individuals from a heavy earth moving background will also be considered for the position.

• Cert III trade qualification (Heavy diesel)
• Strong hydraulic experience
• Workshop rebuild/ major component change out experience - highly regarded
• Excellent attitude towards work and safety with high attention to detail and quality of work
• Looking for a long-term career opportunity
