Light Vehicle Mechanic wanted for a mining principal N.QLD. 7:7 roster, DIDO, great culture on site. Long term work on offer.

• 7:7 roster with DIDO options from Townsville and Charters Towers

• Only 1.5 hour drive from Townsville

The opportunity

This is a standout opportunity to work with a close-knit team of Maintenance tradespeople, located just 50km out of Charters Towers.

• Furthering your skills on a well-established North Queensland mine site

The role and responsibilities

Reporting to the leading hand/ foreman on crew you will enjoy working in a role that will expand your skills on civil & mining earthmoving equipment in a mine site environment. In the role you will be responsible for;-

• 95% workshop maintenance projects
• Servicing, general repairs, component change outs, diagnostics & problem solving
• Range of duties; mainly mechanical and hydraulic with some electrical aspects
• Machinery - Toyota Landcruisers, generators, buses, trucks and lighting plants.

Your value

You will be a qualified light vehicle mechanic with experience working on mine spec machinery - You will also have;-

• Toyota Landcruiser and Hilux experience well regarded.
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• Highly driven and motivated to produce good results
• Excellent attitude towards safety
