Seeking a Sales Estimator to join a major home builder operating for over 35+ years. Minimum 2 years experience, salary ranging up to $120k + super.

About the Company

Our client is a Project Home Builder with over 35+ years experience in the construction industry. Building over 1,000 homes a year across Australia, they are renowned for their quality workmanship, client satisfaction and industry partnerships.

About the Role

Reporting to the Sales Estimating team leader, you will be responsible for producing sales tenders and variations. Experience with a new home builder, granny flat or renovation builder will be a huge advantage in this role.

Duties

• Sales estimating of a diverse range of projects - knock down re-builds, house and land packages, custom homes etc.
• Organising pre-site tender inspections
• Preparation, estimating, and client sign off for variation of contracts throughout various stages of the project - including post-contract, drafting, planning and construction
• Liaising with internal stakeholders including the Sales Team, Drafting Team etc.
• Updating pricing structure as required to ensure accuracy and profitability
• Preparing scope of works for Tenders and Contracts
• Maintaining thorough knowledge of current Building Codes and Regulations

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 - 3 years estimating experience with a residential builder is preferred
• Diploma in Building and Construction or trade background will be highly favourable
• Prior experience using estimating software (i.e. Databuild, BuildSoft, BlueBeam or similar)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills when dealing supervisors, suppliers, trades, and contractors
