About the Company
Our client has been operating for over 15 + years within the residential, fit out and joinery industry across Sydney Metro and regional New South Wales. This Builder is a design and construct firm specialising in delivering high-quality and exceptional projects to the retail, hospitality and workplace, and residential industries.
About the Role
Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced Fit Out Project Manager to work within the commercial team based out of their Sydney CBD Office. As a Project Manager, you will report into the Project Director and Construction Manager, overseeing projects with a combined value of $10M - $12M.
Day to day duties will include:
- Internal and external stakeholder and relationship management
- Development and ongoing management of the construction program
- Regular reporting
- Management of trades, sub-contractors and suppliers with the support of a Contracts Administrator
- Management of trades, sub-contractor and supplier agreements and contracts
- Coordination with the designers and consultants
- Development and ongoing management of financial forecasting and budgets
- Overseeing procurement and contracts administration
- Hybrid office and site based role
- Ability to manage 5-6 projects simultaneously
What You Need
- Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Construction Management or Project Management
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry - fit out or commercial experience will be considered is preferred
- Exceptional presentation with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comprehensive construction knowledge
- Strong understanding of budgets and financial forecasting
