Excavator Operator (Short-Term)

Location: Amberley
Duration: 2-3 Weeks
Rate: Negotiable

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator for a short-term role in Amberley. This position is ideal for someone with an Excavator Operator Ticket and proven experience in operating machinery for utility-related work.

Job Description: As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating a 5-tonne excavator to carry out the following tasks:

• Relocating HV, LV, and communications cables safely and efficiently
• Conducting trenching activities (no deeper than 1 metre)
• Ensuring all excavation work complies with safety standards and project requirements
• Operating the excavator with precision and attention to detail, while adhering to site safety protocols
• Collaborating with the project team to ensure smooth and timely completion of tasks

Key Requirements:

• Excavator Operator Ticket (Essential)
• Proven experience operating a 5T excavator
• Experience with trenching, cable relocation, and utility work
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work within health and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability to commit for 2-3 weeks
