Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead and execute major workshop projects, including machine builds and advanced repairs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to resolve complex issues for customers and team members.
• Carry out maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on underground drilling equipment.
• Mentor and upskill workshop personnel, fostering technical expertise.
• Deliver feedback for planning and operational improvements.
• Compile data for warranty claims and support workshop documentation processes.

About You
You are a seasoned trades professional with a passion for underground mining equipment and a strong commitment to safety and technical excellence.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Relevant Mechanical and/or Electrical Trade Certificate.
• Extensive hands-on experience with underground mining equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, within a team.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Over 7 years of post-trade experience in underground mining.
• Experience working in remote locations and adapting to different cultural dynamics.
• Expertise in delivering technical training to maintenance teams.
