Joinery Dispatch Coordinator

The Dispatch Coordinator will be responsible for managing the scheduling and delivery of finished products to job sites, ensuring on-time deliveries

Marble has partnered with a Melbourne based, leading joiner in Victoria delivering key projects in 2025 and are looking for a dispatch coordinator who will be responsible for managing the scheduling and delivery of finished products to job sites, ensuring on-time deliveries. The role involves coordinating with the production team, communicating with site teams, addressing any delivery-related issues, and maintaining internal systems to keep all parties informed. The coordinator will also assist in dismantling joinery items and, when required, work with the team to protect, wrap, and load items.

Responsibilities

- Scheduling & Coordination: Plan and track deliveries from production to dispatch and communicate delivery schedules and any delays to site team

- Logistics Management: Ensure safe and proper loading/unloading to prevent product damage

- Site Communication: Keep site managers informed about delivery updates and status

- Dispatch Supervision: Oversee the delivery team (drivers, jockeys and labourers)

- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate delivery, shipment and stock records

Skills and Qualifications

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Knowledge of logistics and delivery management

- Familiarity of cabinet-making processes is a plus

- Forklift license required

- Ability to use hand tools

- Proficiency in MS Office
