The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Drafter/Designer to join our client's dynamic team striving to achieve departmental targets with a secure and constant flow of work.
As a Drafting/Designer, you will support the Drafting Manager, with some design experience to assist the design team if needed (although the design experience is not essential).
You are primarily responsible for the efficient and accurate preparation of drawings, with a solid understanding of contract documentation, preconstruction procedures, construction techniques, and all statutory and compliance requirements. You will also be required to modify existing sketches and generate 3-D rendered images of designs created by the senior designer.

House pricing between $850,000 - $5M.
Facilities:
A well-presented office featuring two fully equipped kitchens, secure underground parking, an annual Christmas party, and monthly staff lunches provided by the company.
Key Requirements:
- Hold relevant drafting/design qualifications.
- Preferably 3 years' experience in drafting for local WA builds, ideally within the Luxury builder market.
- Ability to produce working drawings and design sketches using ArchiCAD 26, 27 & 28 (with 4D Library Add-on).
- Processing of client pre-start changes and variations as per Drafting Manager.
- Liaising with councils, colleagues and engineers as required.
- A high attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Assisting the Design Department when required.
- Preparation of 3D rendering images using Lumion 12 (experience not essential in-house training provided).
- Completing work within allocated timeframes.
- Experience in the WA Building Industry.
- Knowledge of R-Codes & National Construction Codes.
- Experience with single & multi-storey residential homes.
- Knowledge of local residential building methods.
