Leading Hand/Carpenter

Seeking an experienced Leading Hand for a fulltime permanent position on Sydneys Northern Beaches. Must be trade qualified.

• North Sydney location; permanent role

I am seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join a well-established builder that specialises in highend renovations and new builds on Sydneys North Shore. My client has a strong pipeline of work locked in for 2025 and is now looking for an extra pair of hands to join the team on a fulltime permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be able to lead and guide a small team (2-3 workers per project) while ensuring the highest quality of work across all stages of the build-from demolition through to structural work and final fit-out.

Key Requirements:

• Carpentry Trade Qualification: Must hold a completed carpentry trade qualification.
• Cert IV in Building and Construction: A current Certificate IV is required.
• Proven experience in carpentry, in both new builds & renovations.
• Strong knowledge of framing, roofing, cladding, and finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
