Our client is looking for an experienced Client Liaison Officer who can facilitate effective communication between clients and builder throughout the construction of the home, with an emphasis on customer service in line with company standards.

The Role:

  • Welcome and introduce clients to the construction phase of their new home
  • Liaise with site supervisors on a weekly basis to record the progression of the building process on site
  • Provide accurate progress updates to clients on a fortnightly basis
  • Ensure all client queries and concerns are brought to attention and actioned effectively and efficiently
  • Raise and action variations in accordance with company procedure for any on-site changes required by either the client or builder
  • Ensure time extensions are raised correctly. Construction variations raised as required for circumstances beyond the builder control for example weather delays
  • Provide communication between the site supervisor and the client when issues or questions arise during construction and address any grievances that may occur
  • Liaise with site supervisors and clients to schedule site meeting i.e. Brickwork meeting, Tile meeting, and Practical Completion Inspections prior to handover
  • Confirm and enter meeting in Click Home
  • Process the completed Practical Completion forms in line with company procedure
  • Prepare and conduct handover of projects in line with company procedure
  • Ensure site supervisors keep Click Home up to date with all tasks ticked complete and jobs programmed 10 working days in advance with clear written notes where required
  • Send site manager calendar requests for meetings
  • Process and provide clients with replacement product variations if suppliers change their product range during construction

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Preferably a minimum 3 years in a Client Liaison role with a Perth building company
  • 12-24 months in other liaison roles such as Contracts Administration
  • Relevant HIA & MBA courses
  • Ability to read and understand working drawings and construction documentation
  • Advanced understanding of residential construction practices
  • High level of interpersonal, listening and communication skills
  • Ability to handle complaints by empathy in lieu of sympathy i.e. establish the most effective common ground for the client and the builder
  • Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Office, costing manager, addenda writer and Click Home with the desire to continuously improve
