The Role
Reporting to the maintenance supervisor on your crew you will enjoy working in a close knit team of mobile plant maintenance trades people and be responsible for the following duties;-
- Workshop (air conditioned) - servicing, preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, major component change outs, general repairs, fault finding & diagnostics
- Field (when competent) - breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics
- Machinery - UG mining trucks, boggers, drills, IT's, charge up equipment, spraymechs
The Roster
- 7 days on 7 days off
- Dayshift only
- Wednesday to Tuesday roster pattern
- 12-hour shifts
- Opportunity to leave early on your last shift to travel home
Your Value
You will come from a trade qualification in Auto Electrical, backed with the following skills and attributes;-
- All round abilities in the workshop working on diesel machinery
- Heavy vehicles, ag/ forestry or earthmoving machinery experience (essential)
- Cert II in air conditioning (advantageous, not essential)
- A keen eagerness to learn and forward your skills in the mining sector
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously
- An excellent attitude towards work
- Safety first mentality
- UG hard rock mining experience is highly regarded (not essential)
