The Opportunity

We are looking for Field Service & Heavy Diesel Fitters to join leading mining OEM in North Queensland. You'll work full time on site at one of North Queensland Largest Underground operations, working with Sandvik, CAT, Volvo, and Normet equipment.

• Roster: 8:6 (Days only)
• FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville, or Cairns to Mt Isa
• Work with state-of-the-art underground mining technology

The Role

You'll represent an international OEM on site at one of Glencore's Underground operations.

• Servicing and repairs on underground loaders, trucks, and drills
• Working alongside HD Fitters, Drill Fitters, and Auto Electricians
• Breakdown response and first-response troubleshooting

What You Need

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Fitter / Mechanic
• Underground hard rock mining experience (Essential)
• Strong experience with underground loaders, trucks, and drill rigs
• Great attitude towards safety and teamwork
