Our client is a fast-growing high-end developer builder in Sydney with five years of proven success delivering residential and commercial projects in the $10M - $15M market.
About the role:
As the Business Development Manager, your responsibility will be to drive business growth by establishing and nurturing relationships with architects and developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the growth of a new client base and business opportunities outside the relationships developed by the existing Sydney-based business.
- Build and maintain relationships with key architects, developers, and industry professionals.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities for residential and commercial builds.
- Actively pursue warm leads provided by the existing team and network.
- Represent the company in various meetings, site visits, and networking events.
- Collaborate closely with the commercial BDM to ensure seamless business development efforts across both residential and commercial sectors.
- Provide feedback and market insights to the leadership team to inform growth strategies.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in business development within the construction industry, specifically in the low-to medium rise or high-end residential space.
- Strong existing relationships with architects, developers, and other key industry stakeholders.
- Ability to identify opportunities and secure new business effectively.
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for growing a business.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A collaborative team player who can work closely with the commercial BDM and other departments.
