Senior Estimator

Seeking an experienced Estimator to join a Boutique Builder in Sydney's Southwest. Minimum 5-6 years experience, salary ranging up to $120K + super.

About the Company

Our client is a Custom Home Builder operating for over 10+ years experience in the residential industry. Building over 100 homes a year across Australia, they are renowned for their quality workmanship, client satisfaction and industry partnerships.

About the Role

• As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for assisting with the day to day operation of the estimating team and work closely with other department team leaders and management.
• Provide accurate pricing for contracts and variations including appropriate margin considerations
• Obtain relevant quotes and pricing for non-standard variations
• Negotiate rates and costs with preferred and non-standard suppliers, sub-contractors and trades
• Produce accurate documentation within budgeted time lines
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of company products and services
• Preparing accurate BOQ's
• Excellent customer service skills, working with supervisors, suppliers, trades people, contractors
• Maintaining trade and supplier relationships

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5-6 years estimating experience with a residential builder (sales or production experience will be considered)
• Prior experience using estimating software (i.e. Databuild, BuildSoft, BlueBeam or similar)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills when dealing supervisors, suppliers, trades, and contractors
