The mine & roster

Located in western Tasmania, this hard rock mine site is supported by a comfortable and well-equipped mining camp with a high standard of meals on offer. The preferred roster arrangement is a 4:3.

The role

Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance Planning, you will enjoy working in a team of experienced mine planners to develop executable shutdown schedules by defining available capacity, required materials and services. Your duties will include (but not limited to): -

• Manages and schedules Shutdown work orders in Pronto CMMS
• Ensures statutory work orders comply with regulatory timing and scope requirements.
• Communicates Shutdown Milestones and prepares Tollgate sign-off documents for major shutdowns.
• Develops Shutdown Organisational Charts and MS Project Gantt Charts for planning and communication.
• Maintains records of statutory work orders in both hard and soft copy formats.
• Monitors Shutdown contractors' effectiveness and suggests improvements.
• Creates and maintains Shutdown Reporting data and S-Curve style reports to manage timing and risks.
• Provides detailed Shutdown Completion data for the Post-Shut Report.

Your skills and experience

You will come from a mining or heavy industry related background with experience on heavy industry machinery. You'll come armed with;-

• Relevant Trade or Engineering qualification
• 2-3 years relevant experience in a similar role
• Experience with operating CMMS
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
