Production Lead - Aluminium Window Fabrication

Opportunity for a Production Lead to join a growing business dedicated to the fabrication and installation of double-glazed windows and doors.

The Production Lead will coordinate all administration of the production department. The candidate will ensure accurate production documentation, management of stock, and affective communication with suppliers. The candidate will also oversee the fabrication of all jobs and ensure that the fabrication team is working effectively.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate production documentation, including all materials and explanatory comments required for fabrication and installation
• Supply chain management: Obtain best pricing through regular price checks and negotiations
• Review purchase orders for production materials
• Allocate jobs and schedule team resources
• Conduct site audits for complex installs
• Monthly stock level management
• Carry out quality control for glass and powder coating
• Identify and resolve any issues in production that could cause delays, ensuring smooth operation of production activities

About You:

• Experience in production management or similar role which focuses on documentation and coordination
• Experience in supply chain management
• Strong orginsational skills and attention to detail
• Efficient communication skills and can effectively manage and collaborate with internal teams
• Flexible, proactive attitude, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing need
• Ideally the candidate will come from a fabrication background within the glazing industry however other trades will be considered
