Are you an experienced Estimator looking for your next challenge in the insurance building industry? We're seeking a driven professional to join our client, working across Melbourne to assess, price, and manage insurance-related building projects.
About the Role
As an Estimator, you will:
✅ Conduct on-site assessments of insured properties
✅ Prepare detailed quotes and scope of works for insurance repairs
✅ Work closely with insurance companies, loss adjusters, and trades to ensure accurate pricing and budget management
✅ Manage a high volume of assessments in a fast-paced environment
✅ Ensure compliance with Australian building codes and insurance standards
About You
To excel in this role, you will need:
✔️ 3+ years of experience in a similar estimating role
✔️ Strong on-the-road experience assessing and pricing insurance-related building works
✔️ A solid background in pricing jobs and managing budgets ideally within the insurance building sector
✔️ Australian experience is absolutely essential - knowledge of local building codes and insurance processes is a must
✔️ The ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly during CAT events
