Dual role for an experienced Permits Officer/Pre-Site Admin for a reputable QLD home builder. Attractive salary & package in place. ASAP start

About the role

  • Prepare and submit applications for building permits, development approvals, and other necessary certifications.
  • Liaise with local councils and relevant authorities to obtain permits in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning laws and building codes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all permit applications, approvals, and related correspondence.
  • Organize and prepare site documentation, including site surveys, soil tests, and property reports.
  • Communicate with clients to confirm selections, variations, and other pre-construction details.
  • Assist clients in understanding the pre-site process and timelines.

What you need

  • Previous experience in permits, approvals, or compliance working for a residential home builder.
  • Familiarity with local council processes and Queensland building regulations.
  • Experience in a pre-construction or project coordination role, preferably within the residential building sector.
  • Proven track record in managing pre-site activities and client communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
