Relocate or DIDO

Opportunity to relocate or DIDO to an established regional town in Northern Central Victoria boasting a strong sense of community, access to health care services and education, surrounded by an abundance of natural attractions.

• Join a mine about a 45 min. drive from the local town

The Role

Reporting to the maintenance supervisor on your crew you will enjoy working in a close knit team of mobile plant maintenance trades people and be responsible for the following duties;-

• Workshop - Preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, component change outs, breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, troubleshooting, servicing, machinery upgrades and installs
• Field (when competent) - breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, troubleshooting and servicing where needed
• Machinery - UG mining trucks, loaders drills, IT's, charge up and more!

The roster

• 7 days on 7 days off, 7 nights on 7 days off
• Wednesday to Tuesday roster pattern
• 12 hour shifts

Your Value

You will come from a trade qualification in diesel mechanics or light vehicle mechanics, backed with the following skills and attributes;-

• All round abilities in the workshop working on diesel machinery
• civl earthmoving, agri and mining diesel mechanic / fitter experience highly regarded
• A keen eagerness to learn and forward your skills in the mining sector
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• An excellent attitude towards work
• Safety first mentality
