Permanent role with an OEM in coal mining with training & development. Workshop or Field service options working on open cut drill & blast rigs.

The branch and your duties

You will be joining the surface drill and blast division of the business. Working primarily on production drilling equipment you will enjoy;-

• Completing the first 8-10 weeks on new machine assembly, rebuilds, upgrades and maintenance services in the Mackay workshop (5:2 or 7:7), which is both modern and well equipped
• Moving into a site-based role on a 7:7 roster completing call outs, technical & product support
• Commissioning of new equipment on site
• Scheduled servicing, maintenance, breakdowns and fault finding

FIFO or Relocate to Mackay

FIFO from Brisbane for those with experience on open cut drill and blast rigs. For those with skills that need development and training, being based in Mackay will be essential to be able to upskill in the Mackay workshop.

Your skills and experience

You will be Mackay based and either have experience working in open cut mining or possess a desire to move into that field. You will also have;-

• Trade qualifications
• Come from an earthmoving or mining background
• A current Driver's license
• Standard 11 and coal board medical (desired however not essential)
