• Manage no more than 1-2 projects with values ranging from $300K - $3M
• ABN or wages options available, salary to be determined based on experience

About the Company

Our client has been operating in Sydney's Northern Beaches with a niche focus on high-end finishes, and bespoke, architecturally designed homes. From complete home renovations to knock down re-builds, they have developed a strong reputation as a trusted builder across the local market.

Working with renowned architects and interior designers, their projects will range anywhere from as little as $300K for a smaller renovation and up to $3M for a larger renovation or new build. We are now seeking an intermediate Foreman to join their construction team based out of the Northern Beaches.

About the Role

The right candidate will a long history of experience working across high-end and architectural residential projects, ideally across the Northern Beaches market.

Duties

• Managing the overall performance of each project from commencement to handover
• Liaising with trades and sub-contractors
• Checking material orders
• Lead a team of site staff in delivering projects
• Ensure that project milestones are followed and met on time
• Undertake project quality assurance
• Action and manage defective work
• Daily detailed site diaries
• Ensure that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and to specification
• Ensuring trades are complying with Safety Management Systems and WH&S legislation's

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience working as a Foreman across high-end residential construction projects
• Certificate III in Carpentry
• Certificate IV in Building and Construction will be highly regarded, however not essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Own means of transportation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, energetic and driven individual with a positive attitude
