The branch and capability

With a well equipped and modern facility in Mackay the capability of the branch offers;

• New machine sales including new machine assembly
• Machine rebuilds, upgrades and maintenance services
• Field service support - call outs, technical & product support
• Continuous onsite support (on crew rosters)

DIDO or relocate to Mackay

For those with high levels of skills working on UG coal development machinery you'll enjoy hitting the ground running at site and able to work a DIDO on a 7:7.

For those with skills that need development and training, being based in Mackay will be essential to be able to upskill in Mackay workshop. Relocation costs provide to move to Mackay.

The division, machinery & duties

You will enjoy joining the UG coal development division of the business. Working primarily on loaders and UG coal mining development equipment you will be responsible for;-

• On site support across a number of sites
• Call outs attending to breakdowns
• Technical and product support
• Scheduled servicing and maintenance
• Commissioning of new machines on site
• Workshop duties in Mackay (occasionally)

Your skills and experience

You will have come from a background in underground coal mining and have experience working in an autonomous role servicing and attending to equipment breakdowns. You will also;-

• Trade qualifications
• QLD electrical license
• Drivers license
• Experience in UG coal mine development (advantageous)
• Explosion protection qualifications (advantageous)
