• Be mentored and guided by an experienced local HD Fitter, with expert product knowledge
• Flexible start times - 38 hours per week (Monday - Friday, no expectation to work weekends)
• Up to $50.00ph + super + annual leave + carers leave

The Role

As a field service diesel mechanic you will be the assigned OEM technician for the equipment sold to one of the companies main clients in Queensland. The role will involve;-

• Maintaining equipment across 4 locations in Brisbane and the Gold Coast
• Becoming well acquainted with 25 machines in the clients portfolio
• Working on wheel loaders, excavators, forklifts, trucks (electric and diesel)
• Mechanical duties - servicing, PM work and scheduled maintenance, warranty work, general repairs, machinery upgrades, breakdowns inc fault finding and diagnostics
• Working closely with the customer and develop a strong relationship with site contacts

Your Skills & Experience

You will have come from a diesel trade qualified background and have 2-3 years post trade experience working on earthmoving equipment. You will also;-

• Have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Be able to work autonomously and in a team
• Have strong diagnostic and fault finding skills
• Be able to carry out work with a high level of accuracy
• Have strong written skills and be able to use computer systems
