The role

Reporting into the maintenance supervisor and working closely with the maintenance planner and manager. Your duties will include;-

• 50% on the tools - technical work focused on breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics, problems solving
• 50% off the tools - tool box talks and safety briefings, training and mentoring, recruitment meetings, machinery reliability meetings, organising parts and kununurra through suppliers

Your skills and experience

You will have come from a diesel trade background and have recent experience in a leading hand or supervisory role leading a team of tradespeople working on mobile equipment. You will also;-

• Have strong experience working with mechanics, hydraulics and electrics
• Experience working on mobile plant machinery
• Strong leadership traits and the ability to manage a small close knit team
• Have an excellent attitude towards safety
