They are extremely progressive have built a strong reputation for building a quality product for their valued channels and clients. Their continued growth means they have an opportunity to add an experienced Area Construction Manager to their already high performing team.

About the Role

As Area Construction Manager your role is to guide, instruct and oversee multiple Site Supervisors throughout Brisbane South/West and Gold Coast on a daily basis as they carry out their construction of new homes for clients all across South-East Queensland.

• Managing a team of Site Supervisors and multiple jobs
• Providing on site support, training and development for the Supervisors
• Ensuring that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and approved drawings
• Inspecting works to ensure a high standard of quality workmanship, including quality inspections
• Ensuring that homes are completed on time and within the allocated budget, including monitoring and controlling ETS's
• Ensuring construction is carried out safely and in accordance with company Safety Management System and the WH&S legislation and internal operating systems
• Ensuring that the Onsite Companion project management system is kept up to date during build processes
• Managing conflicts and solving problems that may arise
• Conducting construction meetings and reporting to the Building Manager

About You

This role is for someone with thorough knowledge and experience within the Residential Construction Industry, who already has experience in a Construction Manager or Area Construction Manager role.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar leadership style role
• Have strong knowledge of QLD and Australian building codes
• Relevant trade/tertiary qualification in Construction
• Previous experience with Onsite Companion and similar software systems
• QBCC license is mandatory
