The role
Day to day responsibilities and duties will include drafting drawings to 3D renders for cabinetry clients using Microvellum software, assist with machinery faults, rectify defaults, sending jobs to the CNC machine for production and utilise quality workmanship on a variety of projects. A strong technical understanding of drafting projects from scratch is ideal, as well as modifying joinery designs from a content library. Working alongside a supportive team of drafters, project managers and production staff to produce designs on time and to client specifications.
You will
Have experience as a Drafter working on cabinetry or joinery projects in the shop fitout space
Possess solid years' experience with Microvellum OR Cabinet Vision - essential for this role
Trade qualified in cabinet making / joinery is advantageous but not essential
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete on time
Be responsible for ordering materials for CNC production
Work in a team environment whilst managing your own daily workflow
Be able to produce detailed technical drawings efficiently and accurately
