The FIFO 8:6 Roster

Great opportunity to secure a role on an 8:6 roster where you'll get paid full days for your travel in and out.

• FIFO from Brisbane, Townville, or Cairns to Mt isa
• 8:6 roster - mostly day shift with some night shifts where needed
• Work on a range of heavy earthmoving equipment

The role

Reporting to the field service coordinator and the site maintenance foreman you will enjoy working on site for with a large international mining principal in N.QLD. Duties will include;-

• Labour hire - work on other brands of equipment, workshop and field where directed
• Fully equipped modern field service ute
• Flights paid
• Accomdation provided

Your value

You will have come from a trade qualified background and have strong experience working on underground hard rock mining equipment.

• Ideally come from recent years working in UG hard rock mining, primarily on underground Boggers, Trucks and Drills
• Breakdowns and first response problem solving skills
• Strong drill rig knowledge (highly regarded)
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent attitude towards work and safety
